The objectives of the Task Force and its achievements have endeared it to many organizations. This has enabled the Task Force enter into cooperation/collaboration with institutions on matters of mutual interest.
The Task Force co-operates with inter-governmental organizations especially in areas of facilitating capacity building programmes and information exchange. These include the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP), the Convention of International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) Secretariat, Interpol General Secretariat, Organization for conservation of Wild fauna (OCFSA) and the World Customs Organization (WCO) . To enhance co-operation, the Task Force has signed Memoranda of Understanding with the CITES , OCFSA, WCO and ICPO – Interpol General Secretariat.
It has also received financial assistance from governmental organizations such as the US Fish and Wildlife Service, Corpo Forestale de Stato of Italy and the Forest Bureau Council of Agriculture of Taiwan among others
Furthermore, the Task Force receives financial assistance from NGOs such as the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSFW), International Fund for Animal Welfare, Defenders of Wildlife, Humane Society of the USA as well as individuals, among others.
